The Central Council Stewardship and Management Workgroup have produced a very comprehensive online document on how to look after bells and belfries, which is invaluable for a Tower Captain, whether new to the job or already experienced. It aims to describe checks that should be carried out to identify any problems, offers advice on maintenance tasks and explains when further expert advice or assistance may be required.
